Uniquely Auburn

Uniquely Auburn was a free community-sponsored celebration of cultural diversity recognizing people, places, and events that make Auburn unique. Uniquely Auburn reflected the Auburn community of yesterday, today and tomorrow. We gathered to tell and listen to stories of family and community and to celebrate what we have been and how we dream to be as friends and neighbors.

Uniquely Auburn used to happen every January in the Auburn Performing Arts Center.

SWP was responsible for creating the art and poetry display in the lobby. Our members have been features in the show as well.

The poetry posters we create for Uniquely Auburn, after the event, are still distributed throughout the area in restaurants, Pacific city hall, and other public spaces.
